Current poll on foxsports.com asks who is the better team this decade. Florida or USC. Florida i can understand but USC? The sad thing is, is that its at 50/50.

LSU isn't on there because those two teams are fresher in people's minds. USC will always be considered because everyone and their mom knows who they are. UF just won, so . . .

Regardless, we should be in the argument. But, if we were on that poll, I'd be surprised if we got above 15% of the votes.

im not interested in arguing who is the best team this decade but i will argue my arse off that we should be in the discussion with florida and florida only.

What part of my statement was an argument????

I'm just telling why we aren't on the poll. That's why it is a POLL and not an ANALYSIS.

Fla came close, right? and LSU wouldn't have had that record if not for poor coaching.

bottom line is Florida and LSU are the only 2 teams this decade with 2 BCS championships. USC is only in the conversation bc they're always loaded with talent (which doesn't mean you're a good TEAM) and bc they're USC

and maybe because they have more wins than us this decade?

Bottom line. It is a POLL. People don't consider what happened 2 years ago. They only think about what happened recently. This includes foxsports. If we have another good year next year, we'll be in it again. Who cares anyways? If a true reporter was analyzing this, LSU, UF and USC would be in the discussion.

exactly. They had a crappy first 2 years of this decade, we had a couple of average years. In the minds of many people outside LA, we both have 2 championships this decade.

LSU:
2000 8-4
2001 10-3
2002 8-5
2003 13-1
2004 9-3
2005 11-2
2006 11-2
2007 12-2
2008 8-5
Total win %: 0.77

USC:
2000 5-7
2001 6-6
2002 11-2
2003 12-1
2004 13-0
2005 12-1
2006 11-2
2007 11-2
2008 12-1
Total win %: 0.81

Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio State and Georgia also have more wins than us this decade. Are you saying all those teams are better?

So if a team wins 2 championships in 10 years, and has losing seasons the other 8, they are the team of the decade? Sounds like you were a big John Brady fan.
