I love their beans but I think $1.89 is too high for the very small serving you get.

Agree or disagree?

They are great and yes I find myself wanting more...but it's like any great dish...you keep eating even though you're full...and that is the ultimate complement to the chef....I also love their corn pudding...I eat there at lunch sometimes and have the Jerk Chicken with the beans ans corn pudding....It's tough getting back to work after that.

I completely agree. I set out to get a sandwich with beans and potato salad, but at those prices I got the brisket plate instead... still 9 bucks. But I guess their rent is more expensive than the bbq joints I'm used to.

I love the corn pudding also. I make that at home often, so I don't usually order it.

I would just like a few more beans!

I need to try the Jerk chicken but I'm always craving the pulled pork.

I always order the Carolina sandwich on French, with potato salad and another side (usually mac & cheese) and a drink, and it's like $10... well worth it.

I love the corn pudding...can't go wrong there. I don't think $1.89 is too much for a side - what else can you get for under $2 nowadays, especially at a non-100%-fast-food-restaurant. But on the other hand, I can't blame someone for watching their wallet in this economy.

I do think the platters are a better deal than buying the sandwich and one side. However, I can't eat that much food at one sitting and can't always take the leftovers with me.

The portion is about the same size cup that restaurants serve condiments and salad dressing in.

I would just like a few more beans for my $1.89.

If you don't agree, that is fine with me.

I don't have a problem with the rest of the menu portions/prices.....just the beans!

Owner of the soon to be open Mandeville was working and learning at the drusilla location yesterday. He said they are still a few weeks from opening.
