per espn.com
He fits well in Kansas City's 3-4 defense. So if this comes to fruition, does that mean he and Dorsey will be lined up side-by-side again? Think of the possibilities.

Tyson Jackson=Michael Johnson. Physical specimens w/o much production.

Jackson and Sanchez are both rocketing up the board and becoming top 5 picks as some believe. I'm not really buying into either of their hype.

He produced well in the 2007 season, just not this past year. I don't think that has much reflection on how he will be as a pro. He definitely has the physical capability.

Kansas City is possibly trying to trade Dorsey, FYI.
via ESPN:
>>There are reports that defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey could be on the move. Dorsey was the No. 5 overall pick last year but there are concerns that he doesn't fit in the 3-4 defense Kansas City is transitioning to.
He has great value. There are teams that want defensive tackles in this draft. If Dorsey was available this year he'd surely be a top-10 pick. There could be a market for Dorsey if the Chiefs want to trade him. But equal value needs to be obtained. <<

Yeah, he sucked at LSU. No production. All you care about are sack numbers. Dude knocked down so many passes. Made tackles and put pressure on the pocket and closed down running lanes. The film doesn't lie. He was outstanding.
I don't know what games you were watching. He didn't suck but was completely over-rated considering his athletic capabilities.

Agreed. His numbers IMO where a reflection more of our system last year than his abilities. His job was containment and reading the O more than pure penetration. If he were part of Chavis's scheme this year, I believe he would be a sack leader.

tyson also has a nice karate chop

I'll never forget when he went all Mr. Miyagi on André Woodson in overtime against Kentucky. It might have cost us the game. We had them in a down and long situation if not for that.

Jackson was pretty good in 2007, but Dorsey eating up the line of scrimmage might have had something to do with that.

This is correct!
There were 3 DE's in LSU's history that were MUCH better than Jackson. I could name more, but 3 will do.
Name them.

Well he did a shitty job of containment and everything else. I agree he doesn't suck just last year
