Brian Williams of Glen Oaks and Langston Galloway are both in the newly update Rivals.com Top 150 Rankings for the 2010 class. Langston slid 6 spots to 98 while Brian Williams debuted in at 116 after a GREAT junior season and a very good outing in Vegas with Texas D1 Ambassadors.

Who are some of the players in the state who are post player with some size?

Why not a lock UNC ? Sounds like a "no brainer" to me. Two really good local players. TJ and Staff should already have a good relationship with both.

There aren't too many post players, there a hand full but no true center prospects for 2010. There is TJ Williams a 6'7' kid from Jonesboro Hodge, 6'8" sophomore from Anacoco Matt Moss, 6'9" kid Casey Oliverson from Simsboro. Not too many others.

Just trust me, it is not a lock. both will likely choose other schools then LSU, it is really looking like both will head out of state.

Yeah, whenever someone on here says trust me, they are usually wrong in the end. I think the odds of these two leaving are just as good as them staying to be honest.

Well, I got inside source on both players. Brian is really liking Bama, Ok. State, A&M, Baylor, and a few others. LSU is in the picture but just because they are local, they most likely wont land him.
Langston really wants to head up to the east coast, most likely St. Joe's. FWIW, these kids won't be on P&G next year.

Well, here's hoping that Trent & Co. can change their minds.

I don't think either are "must have" type of players for LSU, but both are good.

They are two of the best players in the state?

I think LSU will get both of them -- IF they want them. It appears that Trent is slow-playing them both, using them as back-ups for other more highly rated out-of-state players.
Williams and Galloway could very likely go out of state, but that won't mean LSU lost them. It will likely mean that LSU sought bigger fish.

I agree with that, but if you put 2 "Top 150" kids who are in your back yard on the back burner, you better do more than seek bigger fish. You need to catch em.

I absolutely agree. UNC is obviously entitled to his opinion, but they both seem like back up plans, and I respect that to a certain degree. Galloway has a glaring weakness that is difficult to overlook: his height. I'm not exactly sure how much Trent likes Brian Williams either. In the interviews I've read, both seem like they're scorned.
Derenbecker seems like the player Trent covets the most in Louisiana. He also really liked John Isaac from what I've read. It seems to me that he maybe the reason for the lack of interest in Galloway and Williams, because there's really no need to sign three shooting guards in the 2010 and 2011 classes.

Is Derenbecker really a good player or a good player on a 1A team with a great gpa?
