I cooked a deer roast in the crock pot and only ate half of it. I want to save the rest. What is the best way to do this?

Do like I did at lunch today, put it in a pan, cover tightly with foil and put in the fridge.

What about all of the gravy with it? Can I just cover the removable pot that comes with the crock pot and put it in the fridge?

Yes...yes you can. I kept mine in a different container, but you'll be fine either way.

i have a food saver, and pour the entire thing in a bag and vacuum seal it then put it in the freezer. Defrosted one last month that id made in november and it tasted incredible.
