I like it... I think Ross will be strong tonight. If for some reason LSU falls tonight, we got our horse Ranaudo for game 3!!!

And he'll have an extra day of rest. I really thought this was a no brainer.

Smart move. AR will be there to dominate in game 3 if there is a game 3. We can always bring in AR to close it out in Middle relief if needed.

If Ross starts, it is because Ranaudo isn't ready to go on three days rest. I don't know why everyone here just assumed he can.

Because Ranaudo may not be ready to go on short rest.

I'd rather take my chances with Ross and then Bradshaw in long relief than have Ranaudo go out there before his arm is ready and have a subpar start and then be stuck wtih Ross in the deciding game 3.

Ranaudo only threw 75 pitches his last outing, so he could easily come back on short rest. But, I like to see Ross here. He is fresh and ready to win LSU a national title!!!

AR
Austin Ross
Anthony Ranaudo

common, is it that big of a hassle to type out their names?

It's the smart move. Ross and then you can bring in Bradshaw or Cain for long relief. Probably still have Jones for a situational lefty. Could see Renaudo if there is a save situation to win the game.

I like this move.

But, I still think Ranaudo would have started tonight if we would have lost last night.
