My good friend Don Schwab, of the 1963-66 Tigers, has had a bit of bad luck. In recovering from a 6 hour back surgery, he had problems with his blood platlets and had a minor ( TIA ) stroke. There is no problem with his speech, movement or any other of his functions. His son Dr. D.P. Schwab said that he will recover and just needs rest and therapy. Keep him in your prayers!

Good guy. He was my high school coach & D.P. and I were on the same team. As tough as Coach Schwab was/is, he will make it out of this O.K.

God bless him and his family....I also believe he was head coach at Vandebilt Catholic and H.L.Bourgeois, IF memory serves.
