Disliking the Little League World Series

I want to. I really, really want to enjoy this. Its kids playing America's game, and all that.
But I just can't get into this shite and IMO ESPN is shoving it down our throat.
Is it un-American of me to dislike the LLWS?

they're 11-12 year olds. if you played when you were a kid, i'm sure you would have liked to be on espn.

What I don't like is ESPN promoting the "Little League" brand. There are other prominent youth leagues, like Dixie Youth and the Pony League, that get zero exposure? Why? What makes "Little League" so special? If they really cared about the kids, show the Dixie Youth World Series too.

one of the weakest brands of the sport should not be promoted.... this would be like showing greek rec league flag football on new years day as opposed to dixie youth, babe ruth or USSSA baseball.

not a big fan of them, Ive never watched more than a couple minutes. Seems to be a form of prostituting the kids IMO. And yes, I think College athletes should get some kind of cash for their work

Whats ridiculous is that they show the fricking regionals of the llws. Not just the finals in PA. Wtf i mean seriously, they can hardly show ady CWS regionals yet they got these little kids on tv not even in Williamsport yet.
