Hey guys, just wondering if any of you who are close with the football program and players have heard any updates on Demetrius Byrd? Just wondering how he's doing. I don't post much but do lurk around your boards. Our recent drafts and UDFA have me following your program a lot more. Hope you guys have a great year and our players from your program produce! (I hear good things about Beckwith)

Do not look for Bryd to suit up anytime this year. Things have been going well for him but its not a quick recovery either.

SenorPablo he has yet to sign though he was assigned jersey 82.

Yes...sadly
He made a nice play today picking up about 40 yards through the air but got flagged for pass interference as he pushed off the DB negating the play. He has shown so far this pre season that he can get open and has speed he just needs to stay healthy. This is definitely a big year for him coming up.
