Boston Boys Falling Hard for LSU

I'm from Boston Massachusetts where true passion for college football doesn't exist. I see the rest of the country's excitement and I want to fall in love with the sport. I've heard from several sources that LSU has the best tailgating and tradition in the country. I need to see and taste this first hand. I've already bought plane tickets and a hotel for me and a college buddy to see this year's Florida game. Now I just need to find 2 tickets. I tried going on the season tickets waiting list to get them but came up empty handed. I've never been this excited for a sporting event. Can someone help two northerners looking to fall in love with LSU? We always have Redsox tickets to exchange.
On a side note, we love Big Baby in Boston!!!!

Good luck with the tickets.....they will be hard to find. Although some of the posters here are so sure that we will lose they should be glad to offer them up to you.

this is a poor attempt from a fan from south louisiana trying to get a couple of sympathy tickets. accent or bust.

if you plan on doing it big as you say, might as well fork out the 200 each to see the game
but if we lose and lose big this weekend, you'll be able to get tickets for 100

You can try stubhub.com, but anywhere you go be prepared to pay a good bit for them.
And welcome, hope you enjoy yourself and make sure you wear the right colors.

Am I having a touch of deja vu or was this exact message (title and text) posted on here a month or so ago? I swear this is familiar.

Yup it's me again. I was told last time to try again closer to the date so here I am. And yes I'm really from Boston. My college buddy and I are trying to get to big sporting events each year and see the best the country has to offer. We went to the Kentucky Derby last year

The Baseball Tavern was badass for LSU fans when I was there. Couldn't believe the posters and all the support that was there.

I've tried stubhub. There cheapest tickets are over 300 a piece for the worst sheets. Frusturating. You guys really think Georgia is going to win?

There a ton of people scalping before? Think they'll be cheaper than the tickets online? Pretty tough ticket i assume to get down there. where should I go to tailgate? I can't wait to get down there. We're doing New Orleans for a night and then heading over. Never been.

I appreciate all the support. People seem real friendly. October 10th can't get here soon enough.

FYI, A word of warning about your first night in New Orleans...Watch out for the three for one specials. They are for real. You buy one shot, you get three, same with drinks and beer. I had a group of GA friends/fans go to the LSU Georgia game last year and they stayed the first night in New Orleans. 3 of the 6 NEVER made it to campus hung over...Don't waist your hangover on New Orleans. Make it to Baton rouge early Saturday morning and you will be have a great time. Oh, you will find tickets at the game. don't sweat it.
