I haven't been this fired up about a game since UGA 2003.

Hear me out.
In 2004, 2005, and 2006, we suffered early season defeats which somewhat diminished the significance of subsequent SEC home games.
Obviously, 2007 was an exciting season. However, we were the favorites in every game. We were expected to prevail. For me, that cloaked the season in a veil of anxiety. (Moreover, Florida had already lost once when they came to Death Valley in 2007.)
This year is different. We're underdogs. The media mocks us. Opposing fans question us. The Gameday crew guffaws at the mention of our name. Our informal moniker is "Overrated." Yet here we are. 5-0 after a rousing road victory over a ranked team, returning home to face the defending national champions. Night in Death Valley. A national broadcast. Two undefeated teams. A hungry fanbase ready to rise again after the disgrace of last season.
Dismissed and demeaned, we have something to prove. All of us, players and fans alike.

I'm with ya on this and I'm not even going to be there.
Every Tiger fan I am friends with is pumped up for this game and feels we are going to win it.

I still think UGA 2003 tailgating was the best ever. 97' I was still young but I can remember running on the field after. I think this could be as good as those

I would love to hear Tiger Stadium shatter the air the way it did during the 1997 game. That was epic.

I watched '03 UGA at home. I could tell the atmosphere was nuts just by watching GameDay. Crazy LSU fans dancing on cars while bathing themselves in beer, not to mention camera shots of a HUGE pot of jamabalaya. LSU fans are the best.

I have a friend from B'Ham (about a 5 and a half hour drive} who is a TN fan coming to the game without a ticket. He said he just wants to tailgate and see the atmosphere of this game. Everyone in the country is fired up about this one.
