LSU defense must stop Demps!

Whether or not Tebow plays, I don't think he will be much of a factor in this game because he will be limited in what he can do. I think Meyer is going to rely on Demps and the ground game to get the offense rolling. Demps is Florida's most explosive offensive weapon, and we saw what he did to us last year. We have to keep him under wraps!

Yeah....Demps is stronger and breaks tackles a little better than Rainey..and has world track speed..Rainey is also fast and has great change of direction/stop on a dime ability. Moody has quick burst and then runs north-south with more power.
You can expect us to try counter traps quite a few times between the guards...it may get stopped for 0-3 yds 10 times and the next time its all the way to the bank. Expect more of this if Tebow doesnt play much or at all...Meyer & co. know that running the ball is the way to win. We do not wanna throw more than 20 times.
The real key is turnovers and special teams. You lose the ball on the road and it hurts much worse than at home.

The key will be the DTs. Al Woods has been playing great this year but will need to have a monster game this saturday. Alexander, Nevis and Downs will also need to provide some penetration in the middle and I believe they will by using their quickness. Chavis will put them in the right positions to make plays.

Those guys on UF offensive has so much speed, they must be contained if we want to win

If you didnt know the score after the game was over and could look a stat boxscore...the team with the most rushing yds would probably be the winner. 89% of all games are won by the team that outrushes its opponent. The few times it doesnt happen is usually because of turnovers by the rushing leader.
I think the magic number is 150 + yds rushing..do that and take of the ball and walk out a winner. If we end up with something like 70 yds rushing and 3 turnovers I would expect an L.

Agreed.Got too put some faith in Chavis' game plan. We'll need the greatest effort yet to win.

Totally agree Demps is the key.
Look for Chavis to move Trindon out of DE and shadow Demps wherever he is on the field.
We've been holding out on D too! Unleash it this week!!!

Yea, but Chavis couldn't stop Florida when he
was with Tenn......
I think offense is gonna win this game not defense !!!!

I thought a Chavis trademark, outside of maybe 2 games, was pwning Florida.

If Holiday can be stopped Demps can be stopped. Not about defending 1 player but the play.

Demps > Holiday. No comparison besides they both ran 10.01 in the 100 meter.

LOL at Tebow not being a factor.

Their defense is better than our offense. We better play defense like its 2003 or we lose.

But how much offense have we really run to this point?
