What do you all think of fresh markets steak selection. I tend to pickup a few steaks from there when they have a sale. Any other good ideas to get good meat?

Their butcher deli counter people move like molasses. Don't go in there if you are in a hurry.

Fresh Market usually sells USDA select and not choice, so watch out, Sam's sells USDA Choice and usually has better prices and quality

I've purchased steaks from the Fresh Market in Lafayette several times. They sell different quality meat for different prices, like most places.

The Certified Angus is awesome. The put the whole ribeye racks on sale a while back for like 6.99 lb. I cut them 1" thick and they were very good.

The lesser quality/price cuts are ok.

Why buy from there when you can find better quality across the street and it's cheaper. He'll even Calandro's is cheaper.
