If you watched the game it really was much closer then that. We had a couple of long pass plays called back for penalties and then the 73 yard run by Julio really bolstered their stats. We did what was needed to stay with them in the game. We just weren't given the oppertunities in the end.

if thats what i think it is and it's total yardage, then our fans need to rethink how "great" chavis is and how good our D is....

That was a mediocre offense we just played at best with a qb that missed several wide open recievers....they ripped through our D like a wet paper towel on the ground and we made a very poor qb look pretty good.....

we don't get pressure on anyone and 11 sacks rates 106th in the nation....thats terrible

FACE THE FACTS, OUR D IS NOT THAT GOOD

only difference in this game is 2 plays.the long catch by jones with petetrson on the bench and the interception by peterson that was screwed up by the refs.ill say that we had no answer for ingram.and ill say that bama was stronger than us in the 4th.

Those stats are completely misleading. LSU kept UA out of the endzone and thus gave there team an excellent chance to win the game. If anything, those stats indicate poor coaching by Alabama. They out gained LSU by 200 yards and still gave them an opportunity to win the game.

Also, penalty yards get subtracted from total yards so officiating does taint the statistic.
