Really all boils down to the next 2 weeks. I am amazaed at how much fire Les and Crowton talk there has been.

About 95% of the country had Florida and Bama picked ahead of LSU. They have lost the 2 games that most of us thought they would. NOW IS THE TEST. Les cannot lose to Ole Miss and Nutt again, or let Arkansas continue to dominate his program.

I realize they haven't been pretty to date....but finishing 10-2 with a 19 year old first year starting QB meets my expectations of our coach and his staff. Losing one of the two next games justifies all the ongoing concerns based on the talent they have.

Been a very good season thus far... still has the potential to be a great season if we win out.

Tune out the criticism, because at this point there shouldn't be any.

10-2 was the high end of what I expected, 8-4 was the low end. I think most people felt the same way. It is just more difficult to see that when you're in the midst of it.

Actually, I think 3 losses and finishing 3rd in the Division = failure based on the talent.

the record can be viewed as good. Being outcoached on almost every game and the performance has been a failure.

More people had Ole Miss picked ahead of LSU than Bama, so this makes no sense

Not disagreeing (and it's actually highly unlikely that happens), but most people (including our own fans) predicted us to finish 3rd in the West before the season started.

No, what's amazing is you actually believe what you're spouting.

titan, I understand where you are coming from a little bit, but have you looked around to other teams around the nation? I'm not seeing any other teams (other than maybe 4-5) that have been any better/more consistant than us...thats the nature of college football, you can be great one week and look putrid the next, its the nature of 19 year old kids.

bullshite!!!!!

The offense is stagnenet and the D-line has had problems with ULL and La tech. There was NO reason for a performance like last night.

Going into the Tech game, and throughout the season as we saw how LSU was playing I was pretty sure it would be a game LSU could lose (as opposed to Tech actually beating LSU toe to toe). It almost happened; so I'm happy with the results, not how we got there. I fully expect LSU can lose to both Ole Miss and Arkansas based on how the Tigers are playing, who is injured, and coaching that seems to be without clue much of game time (and probably before).

I'll give you three pretty big ones:

1. LaTech, who gives a frick

2. Alabama hangover

3. Jordan Jefferson

That said, it's pretty silly to get all rattled by a weak performance against LaTech. It's one of those games that only matters if you lose. Chillax... The Ole Miss game will help tell the story of the 2009 LSU football season, not the LaTech game.

You typlify a lot of younger LSU fans. LSU has been very good for the last decade, so you don't know any better. Combine this with the BCS mindset where everyone's paranoid about perfection and where they will be ranked.....and this is what it comes to.

They have won 8 out of every 10 games under Miles. Talk about coaching performences all you want.......but there are only a handfull of coaches winning at that clip.
