Tiger Rag Magazine Question

I don't live in the Baton Rouge area , so I'm out of the loop.
I've been a Tiger Rag subscriber since day 1 ,years ago and have seen a huge drop off in quality the last 4-5 issues plus the Basketball Special.
I've also noticed a change at the top (editor) several times since the opening of the football season.
Does anyone know what the deal is with the personnel changes and/or the future of the magazine ?
Maybe it's just me but I feel the writing quality and substance is not as good as it once was. Is there an alternative publication (as Purple & Gold once was) ?
Thanks

Why pay for papers when you can get news on the internet.
You can even get good news from the rant after you wade through the tards.

My problem is delivery time. After reading the internet all week, I receive my tuesday copy on the following monday. I can then reread the two week old game and the info on the upcoming game- which has already been played. I live 56 miles from BTR .

Harry--
I'm over in Mississippi and know what you're talking about. Mine isn't usually that late but late. After Katrina the problem seemed to be mail being routed through New Orleans (no surprise, I guess) but things haven't really gotten better in recent years.
I just think the writing isn't as good nor is the layout (especially the basketball guide). After all these years of subscribing...I doubt if I'll renew.
BTW...What happened to the daily Tiger Rag e-mail ?
Sounds like the company is going down or just hanging on. Deville wasn't great but better than the latest "editor".
