Les should take responsibility for Ole Miss game...

and stop the extenders in his contract so in a few years he will have a year to year contract.
No recruit will be swayed because Les has a year to year contract. Hell, it means that there would be no buyout so LSU would be able to afford to afford the best coach available if Les doesn't get it done.

well, he did take responsibility for the Ole Miss loss and LSU reserves the right to extend his contract after his 8th win.

Besides maybe 2-3 schools, nobody else can claim that.
IMO, I don't want a recruit to go to LSU for the coach, I want them to go to LSU because of the history of the program and the school itself.
Also, you want to get rid of Miles so bad...then who would you have take over that a recruit would come here because of?

I think that what you meant to say was,"Les should not have denied responsibility for the Ole Miss game." But that is over now. If LSU goes seven and three in a conference as outstanding as the SEC, especially this season, I think we can take it easy on the finger pointing and just focus on next year. There is no excuse for poor clock management, but certainly hope its the last time......I hoped Auburn two years ago would have got that out his system. Live and learn
