Crabcakes for appetizers.

Abita Wasabi Tuna-had this before and was pretty good.

The last office party I went to there had a select menu to choose from and you either got Chicken, small filet or pork tenderloin. No other options.

Open menu. I asked.

Juban's was great. We really enjoyed the food and drink. Place was decorated nicely for the holidays too.

Food:
Apps = I had the crabcakes. Some of the best I have ever eaten. I may have had better I just don't remember where. Wife had the oyster carousel. It looked good and she said it was but a little on the small side.

Entree = I had the ribeye cooked med rare as did the wife. Cooked exactly as ordered. Could literally cut it with the fork. Came with butter on top of it. I could have done without that but it was still awesome. A touch of salt and pepper and I was good. Had to be a 16oz cut. Wife got the baked potato with hers. I just ate the steak.

Desert = White Russian with Grey Goose. Strong as hell.

Wine = We were drinking a cab. It was good but I never asked the waiter what it was. Should have.

Service = Good. We were a party of 20 so we had three waiters assigned to our room.

The bad = We were a party of 20. The food came out too slow for everyone. Half were eating before half had food. Too long of a lag in between. They need to improve on that. One guys steak was cooked too rare for his taste and had to send it back. Took 10 minutes to get it back.

All in all. I give it high marks. Enjoyed it.

This is always gonna be a problem for a restaurant if you order off of the menu. No way to get 20 entrees ready at the same time. People need to be told ahead of time that in order for everyone's food to be served hot, everyone is not gonna get their food at once. Personally, I have no problem with this.
