just got this game for 15$ on ebay. What should i do with the nuke?

it gave me an option of blowing up the town or dismembering it.

that depends. do you want to be good or evil?

ETA if that's a tough choice for you, you're in for a rough ride. That is the most straightforward choice in the game imo. there are lots of them that are much more complex with far reaching implications.

I didn't know what the heck I was doing at first.I'd rather be a good citizen.(that helps in the long run, right?)

Blowing up the town gets you negative 1000 karma, so some good characters will attack you on site. You also get digs in Tenpenny Tower.

Save the town & get a house in Megaton.

The great thing about Fallout 3 is that you can play however you like. Being evil will not screw you over in the long run. You won't have access to a couple of the henchmen, but there are others that will make up for that.

I so wanted to love that game, but I got bored with it very quickly. It just did not draw me in at all

It takes a long time to really get into. The first part of the game you are just trying to get ammo and money, as the game goes on they become less and less of an issue and you can spend more time exploring and doing side missions. I think it's a fantastic game, and I'm still playing it 10 months after I started, but I can understand why someone can't get into it.

I think the whole part where youre in the vault is what gives it the slow feeling. I understand that it's important to the story and introducing gameplay mechanics, but it was slow.

I got this for Christmas with my PS3. Just got to Megaton last night. It feels a lot more focused than Oblivion did, which is good. I got bored really quick with Oblivion, but I can see myself playing this one for a while.

Do you have to pay for all the DLC's? I guess you have to get them through the PS3 Network or store, but I haven't had the chance to check the out yet as most of my gaming time has been spent play the new Mario game for Wii with my wife.

i thought fallout 3 was slow at first too.

then one day everything just kinda hit me... the enormity of the DC area and all the stuff to do.

personally i blew megaton up and enjoyed my penthouse suite in tenpenny towers, of course only to assassinate tenpenny later.

game is awesome though.... it can be slow, but try fighting the super mutants at the Mall and tell me the game is slow then, hah
