I can't believe I didn't find a thread on this after a search.

My very pregnant wife wants a burger for lunch and we were wanting to try something besides Times.

The closer to downtown the better. What ya got?

Overrated, but since you said downtown...Riverside Patty. I like Downtown Seafood better.

Then the search function really really stinks.

Stroubes
Roul's
Masons
Georges
Riverside
Tramonte's
Superior

All good

I know, searched for "burger" subject only, only a few indirect hits.

In my opinion, it isn't at a restaurant...go to Fresh Market, they have gourmet burgers in the meat market already made into a patty. They are about an inch thick, get the cheddar/bacon one and grill it basting it in BBQ if you like...Awesome!!

most people who aren't college kids know that Roul's is doo doo.

IMO, the best burger in BR is probably at Copeland's. comes on a butter croissant and it is badass

I definately am not a college kid and I really appreciate Roul's burger. Mason's is the best in town. Stroube's is a close second. Roul's has there place at #6 on my overall list.

From their online menu:

COPELAND BURGER Since 1983 9.99
1/2 lb., hand formed choice ground chuck, topped with Monterey Jack, Cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, beefy mayo and Tiger sauce on a croissant. Served with fries.

That looks badass.

I definitely need to give Mason's a try the next time I'm in that area. Heard nothing but good things about it.

They have a hamburger they put an egg on.
One of my buddies ate it.
I hate eggs.
So you figure out how I feel about times.
