I'm sure he's not happy about this, and neither are a certain faction of Saints fans.

He would have never played for the Saints. We didnt have the money and we didnt have someone to lose that is of equal value to him.

Wilfolk is taking it like a true champ.

"After six years of dedicated service i do understand this is a business," Bianca Wilfork tweeted. "It is my hope that the tag is applied for its true purpose...of alotting more time for us to continue our talks and be able to reach along term agreement. Only time will tell what the final result will be."

this was from his wife's twitter

I'm 99% sure losing an RFA doesn't count towards that, you just get the picks. Unless they don't tender him, preferring the $ to spend as opposed to the picks. I have no idea what he would get if he were an UFA, I'm guessing in the range of $6-7m a year, barring playing time incentives.

We'll just have to trade our low 2nd for Glenn Dorsey.

We'll have a 2010 version of the Heavy Lunch Bunch.
