and the commentators were bragging on Trindon... saying you better stick to 3 step drops when throwing to him, because you can't reach him after 5 steps.

Then when they went to commercial one said "We'll be back here at the NFL combine where we're trying to out-throw Trindon Holliday." And the other one said "Yea... that's not gonna happen.

They keep talking about how he just has that "it" factor.

4.34

That's fast but there were faster last year. He has no lateral ability and goes down after even anticipating contact.

I don't think he'll do much. Only 10 reps in the bench press. People compare him and McCluster but Dex had 20 reps.

There were? Last years times were slow. The track is slow. Guys running at pro days shaved .1-.2 seconds off of their times.

So do most NFL receivers. Its a trend of late to catch the ball and look for the ground.

i thought he would have a faster 40 time, but 10 reps of 225lbs at 160 lbs is pretty solid. Wonder if bulking up to hit 225 for 10 reps hurt his speed any. Regardless, he ran pretty hard this year and didn't go down as easy as you would think and fielded punts more reliably than in past years. Runs harder than Keiland who outweighs him by 60 lbs. He could get drafted in last couple rounds.

Pretty sure he's being projected as a WR/return guy in the NFL.

If Trindon gets drafted, he should send a personal Thank You card to Darren Sproles.

Obviously NFL scouts aren't expecting him to do much (projected 7th round pick). The point is that speed is coveted at every level. Do you start your franchise with a guy like this? No. But I'd sure as hell spend a 7th on a guy with that kind of speed. Most people get this.

Definitely if you've met your other needs. I think if Trindon would have shown that he could secure punts during college, he'd be worthy of a mid-to-late 5th round pick strictly as a return man. He is still a viable kick returner.

I would spend a 7th round pick on him as well.

I mean hell Michael Lewis made a few bucks in the NFL...don't see why Trindon couldn't.

Say whatever about his football skills...but the guy is tough as a nail. it takes guts to step into a field where size matters and he playing for a team like LSU alone should earn anybody's respect. I hope he does get drafted. One of my favorite players (like you can't tell)

Like I said before, Trindon will surprise many folks.

He has extreme work ethic and wants to be the best player on the field.

People can keep talking him down, but he's just going to keep proving people wrong.
