Discuss.

I say yes. Sadly I think Jai has better coverage skills, he is also a damn good tackler.

Not kidding here, towards the end of the year I began to question some of Chad's decisions.

Positive. Watch the last several games. CJ was all over the field especially the Penn State game definitely best player on our defense in that game. He progressed a great deal during the season and would have continued this progression into next year.

Yes it will be better, but only a small part of that is Jai(yes I think his speed and coverage ability as a former CB will help), the biggest part will be the maturity of the 2 CBs and other safeties in working with Chavis and Cooper

I am not attacking CJ. I am commenting n his play, he is a great player and won the MooU game for us.

Well...Claiborne is an unknown at corner...Jai unknown at Safety...and Loston unknown at Safety. And by unknown...I mean no D1 game experience at those positions. So it's a guess to say they will be better...unless you are suggesting CJ was simply horrific and him being gone will only improve the secondary.

Yes I am quite happy with the two CB's.

If Taylor, Hatcher can stuff the run.

Its pretty much an attack when you say losing somebody will help us considering we have the same players we had on the team last year

I have played corner and safety before and the only difference from corner and safety is you have more to worry about and a safer chance at not getting beat deep. I think Jai will excel at the safety position. From CB to S is not a hard transition.
