Any solutions for third base:
The play there has been sloppy not to mention poor hitting with the exception of a few good at bats by Dozier against weak pitching:

3 at third:
BA FP
Wet Delatte .216 .893
Grant Dozar .357 .905
Beau Didier .241 .917

All Others:

Blake Dean .363 .995
Micah Gibbs .360 .994
Mikie Mahtook .351 .981
Leon Landry .346 1.000
Tyler Hanover .326 .972
Trey Watkins .322 .950
Austin Nola .315 .963
Matt Gaudet .303 1.000

Well Didier is almost looking as bad as Delatte these past 2 weekends... and thats bad. Real bad.

I'm all in favor of Dozar. Last year it seems the kid was the most jacked up, excited player off the bench after big plays or pitchers coming off the field. Seems firey and seems to want to play.

I dont see Delatte or Didier showing me any "want."

You mean past weekend. He didn't start in the Arky series. Didier will be fine if he keeps getting reps.

My bad...

I was so excited to see him getting the PT when Delatte got pulled and Didier got the majority of the ABs vs. USL, it's just seemed like a long time to me.

To me, it seems that Delatte gets REALLY weak contact. But on the other hand, Didier hardly gets any contact. As in not touching the ball at all.

Dozar's bat needs to get in the lineup.
I would hate to move Hanover to 3B and put Dozar at 2B but you might have to.

Lowery could have really helped, the JC guy.

I assume Katz is not ready and neither is Edwards.

Was wondering about Lowery as well.

I think Katz has played more 2B (HS and Fall Ball). I know he played OF for an inning or so earlier.

Helenihi is looking damn good about now.

....But I'd stay with Didier. Atleast he looks like a young Mickey Mantle.

I don't think I'd want to see Gaudet in the field.

I believe we are overthinking. We have no other proven hitters other than the top 8. I think we need to find someone who can hit first before we start moving Hanover, Dean, Gaudet to 3b.
