Reading some of these post with fisherman and guys who work on the rigs being out of a job is a huge hit. What are some ways for people to profit off this disaster?

After katrina for instance fema was paying people ridiculous amounts of money to inspect trailers, haul trailers, gut house, clean up ect...

This is a federal issue and money will be poured out am I right?

Otto Finally you have a post I can agree with.

Dont wish this mess on anyone but might be better if it hits beaches rather than marshes.

You realize tourism is the #1 industry in FL? frick the marshes, people don't seem to give a shite about eroding them away anyway, funny how everyone has started caring.

you're joking right? people have been caring for years, not to mention the 1000's of fisherman and hunters who are in the marshes day in and day out..

and it's not that people don't care its that we are yet to find an effective way to protect/rebuild the marsh system besides letting the miss river run its course (which would displace a ton of people)

East of Appalachicola south to the Keys is just as fragile as LA's marshes, I vote Cuba.

Talk about a derailment, I am not sure a single replay even gets to your question.
