How close is this to Lake Charles/Rockerfeller Refuge and what the chances it hits there and when?

It's a long ways a way. I am afraid if a hurricane that brushes the coastline could dump some oil In the marshes and into the lake. I think if any area gets effected it would the far east side which is rockerfeller.
Still very doubtful minus a hurricane.

This oil can't do anymore damage than what the plants in Westlake/Lake Charles/Sulphur have done over many years.

Damm, & I'm still eating shrimp, red fish & specs from Big Lake, and I won't quit

I visited a buddy of mine in Hackberry 5 years ago and that's the last time I ate anything out of Big Lake.

I fished out of Rollover landing on Thursday, made a trip out to a couple rigs...was beautiful out. even took a dip in the Gulf to cool. off Man, I really feel for those people east of the vermillion bay where the spill is really "hitting home"

btw: 7 nice reds and dozen of MONSTER crabs, shrimp running freely, got about 10 lbs worth for fresh bait, they were on the small side

There is something going on out West that they are not telling us. In the past few days there has been a lot of boom, quarters barges and other boats and equipment deployed out towards Vermilion Bay. I can only imagine that they are expecting the oil to start moving West.
