In the grand scheme of things, there is still very little oil, compared to what has leaked, that has hit the coast. Not saying it wont get worse, but it's not as bad as the media is reporting.

Yes. The areas that the oil has impacted are probably just going to experience marsh death both of the vegetation and all aquatic life. Other than that its no big deal.

Only the first wave of oil has made it ashore. There is much more to come. There are vast underwater plumes

Right because that is what the media is telling you, right?

Where are they? How are they tracking them?

It is my understanding that those first reported plumes of oil were invisible to the naked eye. Lower O2 content was the concern. Most were moving south to never be heard from again.

We have 10,000 square miles of dead zone off of the La. coast ever year. These plumes had more oxygen than the dead zones and didn't usually extend to the bottom or the top.

Have one move shallow and it could trap sea life otherwise they just swim away from it.

The big bad media is making this all seem worse than it is.

Appears we've got some dumbass BP apologists on here.
