im sure she indulged a little bit to make the story nice, but i doubt any of what the workers told her is false. it really stings to know that this is all happening on an island ive spent some very good times on over the past 20 years.

40 something years worth of trips here.
So many good times.
It makes me sad to see these pictures.
I was there a few weeks ago and to be honest, Grand Isle has never looked finer than that day.

Gee, I've been told BP doesnt want anybody doing oil spill research so you must leave. I told them I'm doing regular monitoring. My employer ID and drivers license taken and photocopied. After more debate I'm finally allowed access. However an ATV shows up and I'm watched through binoculars the entire time.
Meanwhile cleanup crews sit underneath a tent for 4 hrs smoking and cracking jokes. Thats what hiring prison work release gets you.
