What's up with the Big 10 colonizing on the eastern front. Haven't heard much from Rutgers, Syracuse, Pitt, etc.

The Big East doesn't contain any bigtime programs that are worthy to recieve an invitation to prestigious conferences, except for maby West Virginia. And for this very reason along with a lack of revenue noone wants to join the Big East either.

You are wrong. This will happen, I'm just wondering why it's so quiet. The Big 10 will take an Eastern team, or two or three. They need to add 5 teams.
The covet the NY/NJ TV market. Rutgers or Syracuse will be in the Big 10.

When I lived in New York, I don't think I heard one person say anything about Rutgers sports (and this was in the Schiano Era), and the only Syracuse fans were from upstate originally.

Football is running the show, but views on an athletic program's worth are shaped by more than just football. You don't think UConn or Syracuse has anything to offer another conference athletically?
