Saw it last night, don't think it was as good as New Moon.

Was New Moon the 2nd one? If so, they would have to really try to make it worse than that flaming piece of crap. The first one was horrible with the sparkly vampires, but the 2nd one was truly horrible in every way.

I went with the wife to see this on the 4th. I read the first book and thought it was good but not great...at least it puts books in the hands of kids. I thought the first movie, however, sucked! The second one sucked more. So I had low hope in Eclipse. I was surprised. It didn't suck nearly as bad as the other two movies. I was not groundbreaking or even DVD ownership, but it didn't really suck.

Good to hear, because I'm sure at some point, my wife will withhold sex until I agree to watch it.

Go ahead and take her. It isn't that bad. I had a coke, popcorn, and raisinets, so that might have made it better, lol.

Read all the books, taking the daughter to see this 1 as well. I actually enjoyed the books, and the movies are great for when I can't sleep.

I went and saw it this past weekend with the gf, and it wasn't that bad. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't really good at all. But if you have to go see it with your old lady, it's easily sit-through-able. Now, I've never seen the first two, nor have I read any of the books (or really know anything about them), but what got me was how plain the movie was. There didn't seem to be anything too special about it. So I really have no idea how it's this huge worldwide phenomenon. But I guess that's the power of that teenage demographic (see: Harry Potter).

you hit the nail on the head. It "bearable" for those of us who get dragged to it. I'd rather this than any Katherine Heigl shitfest rom-com.

The first movie's production quality was so poor, I thought it looked like a network TV Movie of the Week.

Saw it on the 4th w/ the wife and didn't think it was that bad... the teenage mushiness started my gag reflex a bit.....and I swear jacob apparently didn't own but 2 shirts or something. The cat calls that were coming from behind me were a bit much...

I got dragged to that shut last night I have never seen the first two and don't plan on it just like I didn't plan on seeing this one. It's just so laughable how stupid this crap is. How people don't sit there and tell themselves WTF am I watching.

I wanted to punch the stupid whore chick in the face because she won't make up her fricking mind. Omg I love you Edward! Then she runs to that douche that doesn't wear a shirt. The whole scene in the tent made me want to throw up. The girl has the lowest self esteem ever. Edward is fricking weird. She has to choose between beastiality or necrophilia. Those new vampires were suppose to be so badass yet they ran through them in 4 mins.

The blonde headed vamp that looked like corey feldman made me laugh everytime I saw him. Movie was turrible just turrible

Where are the adult vampires? It seems like every vampire in these Twilight movies is a teen. Even the damn dad vampire is fricking Mike Dexter from Can't Hardly Wait.
