If the guy isn't good enough, pull the scholly. The amount of talent coming out of La. the next 2 years makes that scholarship way more valuable than a 4th string QB who would never see the field (even though the Rant said he would start this year ).

It is his job to build a good football teams, not give out a free pass to players who won't improve the team. They get a free education for a reason.

1. the team never seems organized
2. we haven't successfully implemented a gameplan in a long time
3. Ole Miss game 2009

other than that, I like the guy. hope we go undefeated

Mad at miles ? Naa

I simply have no confidence in the man. LSU football has IMO developed the feel of a badly mismanaged business.

Because they are stupid. They all think they know better than Miles or any other LSU coach, ever, how to run the team. I have heard the lowing herd all of my life. My uncle, God rest him, was one of them. He used to drunkenly bellow "help Mac pack" and screamed for the head of every LSU coach until he died in 2002.
I loved Uncle Joey, I really did. BUT, he was a blowhard ahole when it came to LSU coaches. Everyone on here yowling about Miles reminds me of Uncle Joey.

That's because lee is a headcase and Jefferson is timid sometimes.

So they had to put their hope
In the 3rd stringer.

I'd say its a two-part answer as to why people are mad at Miles.

1) With an already shaky QB situation (talent, performance, depth) many people are upset that we are now down to 2 scholly QB's with the possibility of a 3rd if he doesn't sign a contract as a first-round MLB player. Whether he was gonna set the world on fire isn't the point.

2) People who already don't approve of Miles as a coach will use this as further fuel that he isn't a good manager of talent or of the program.

you really think the team is organized on the sidelines?

Auburn was good. I should have put we can't consistently implement gameplans

forget about Ole Miss? frick you. I still like Miles but that bullshite is unacceptable. not just the "clock it" thing... more like the disorganized CLUSTERfrick that was our team after Toliver caught that pass. he was a fumbling idiot that night (he knows this)

Is this what really happened? Or did Garrett ask Miles to be released?

Why the hell is it considered taboo to be mad at a coach? We are fans... that's what we do. I'm not calling for his head and I don't want him gone. I like his commitment to LSU so far. All coaches have their faults... a couple of shaky years isn't reason to fire him.

You act like we need to protect Miles and never criticize anything he does. And... we are fans just talking out of our asses. What the frick does it really matter?

Can you not find one thing to criticize him for, or has he been perfect?

Well, with the exception of Saban and Arnsparger, ole' Uncle Joey was right. Mac, Stovall, Archer, Hallman, and Dinardo all deserved to be fired. I think you should be posthumously lauding Uncle Joy as an unsung prophet and genius.
