looks like we will find out soon.
other than completely killing the booming stratedgy I think the effect of the storm on the oil will be a positive one.
would rapidly allow the oil to emulsify and enhances the natural cleanup process allowing microbes to consume the oil more easily

I agree 100%, like I have said from day one, this is not as bad as they are saying it is. Everything will be okay.

Going to see how many houses BP is willing to buy down the bayou.I can't see how throwing oil into uncontaminated marsh is a good thing. Have any of you actually witnessed flooding in the low lying areas?

but you would hope that it would "flush" itself out in the process and not stick. Now that heavy oil, that would not be good. sheen and tar balls, that may just wash in and wash out. Truth is no one knows until/if it happens. Hopefully we never get to find out.
