Will we get any kind of major push out of LSU for this? Seems like we really dropped the ball with J-Rock and Dorsey

dont forget the dazzling Clayton campaign as well
I like that hes on the "radar" even though its for his ridiculous yardage he put up on returns.
I hope that now hes on the Heisman "radar" people will pay more attention to his skills at corner. People know hes good, but maybe he got himself into a position to get Heisman recognition for his freakish abilities on D.

He won't need a push. Punt/Kick returns and interceptions always find their way on to sportscenter.

I know that I would want PP more than anything to be holding that heisman trophy at the end of the year. He really is one of the best athletes to ever come through lsu!!
and hey, I guess if PP doesn't get it, a certain family member of PP could possibly get it 3 or 4 years down the road

What sucks is if they never kick him the ball or throw to his side of the field, Heisman gives no love for that.
I love this, but its all BS.
Where the hell was Eric Berry come finalist time?

We would not dare expose his real talents, hence taking him out on punt returns when he only needed 10 yards to break the NCAA record

no one in college football is better at their position than PP is at his. Sadly defensive players dont get much love from the seelction commitee. If teams actually kick to him he might make a splash, bottom line he is a Frickin BEAST!

Im not on the coaching bandwagon, but I do get this. He was needed pretty badly on D and they obviously werent going to kick him the ball anyway.
As much as I want to believe the Heisman voters actually do vote on "the most outstanding player in college football" its really all a farce. QB for a top 3 team with a RB sprinkled in every now and then. Its been this way for the last 10-15 yrs or so.

If LSU goes undefeated while running fewer than 60 plays per game, Peterson will win the Heisman easily.

If the trainers can get his cramping/hydration issues under control, don't be surprised to see him in the backfield by the Florida Game. This has been considered for some time, but concerns with cramping has been the hold up.
IF, and that's a big if, he were to provide 100-150 all purpose yards, in addition to being the shut down corner he is noted for - it could make the conversation much more interesting.
