Miles staff and Quarterbacks.

Since he has been here he has yet to get a good college QB. When he won the 2007 NC, Flynn was at QB and he was Sabans recruit. Miles QBs have been
1. Ryan Perrilloux- Had alot of potential but off field problems got him kicked off.
2.Jarrett Lee- book not yet closed on him but you have to admit he has had his share of problems when he had the reigns.
3.Jordan Jefferson- again book not yet closed, and everyone knows how he's struggled.
4.Chris Garrett- Never played, however must have been bad because the coaches that recruited him to LSU were taking away his scholarship.
5.Russell Shepard- not even a QB anymore, although he is the real deal, and may be better at QB than any on the roster.
6.Zach Lee- we will never know.
So Miles resume at recruiting QB's has not been good up to this point. Just another reason not to like the coaching staff. Just thought that I would point this out. Also by the end of JJ's and JLee's career I HOPE that I eat my words. I would like nothing more than to see one of these QB's succeed, because that means LSU will be doing better on offense than they are now in relation to the quarterback position

No you don't. You would rather brag to all your buddies at the bar how you called the situation than LSU have a good record.

Lee has been through Hell and back since his freshman meltdown. I think nothing can rattle him now, and this is his time to step up!

Cents, contrary to many Negatigers (not myself) I am an LSU fan and would like nothing more than to see LSU win another BCS championship. Thanks for giving me props for having buddies, but the truth is I don't have any buddies and I don't go to the bar, I am more of a family man.

Take out Jamarcus Russell and tell me when we've had a truly dominant QB in the last 20 years.

Who's asking for dominant? At this point I'll take mildly consistent.

I just think it's a shitty idea that this guy includes a quarterback that left the team for discipline, a quarterback that left the team for the MLB, and a converted WR on his list of the staff's failure with quarterbacks.
Jefferson and Lee still have time IMO, and no one really knows what happened with Garrett

there is no doubt we have struggled to get elite QB's; i wonder if that is because of lack of faith in crowton or miles or both; if there was some general lack of faith in either, then it would seem that it would transalte to other posisitons as well. why would a five star wr or rb come here. I think it is mostly just a lack ow qb talent in La the last few years.

Elite? Name the elite quarterbacks of the last 3-4 years. Tebow, Bradford, McCoy, Russell, Quinn... probably a few more.
They don't grow on trees. We had one in Russell and had our chance with Perrilloux. Zach Lee probably would have been another great one.

I agree LA. qb prospects are down, and it looks like that trend is going to continue atleast for this year.

i saw this on a search and was wondering, what happened to Chris Garrett?

It is perfectly logical. All were recruited to LSU to play QB, came into the program and left for various reasons. In Miles six seasons, the only recruited QB's to make it in the program are J. Lee and Jefferson, and neither has developed.
No matter where you stand on Miles, this is a huge disappointment.

No one really knows.
Speculation includes: he read on TD that he should start for LSU. When he asked to practice with the 1's, the staff

I take it the family has had enough of your rants and so you decided to vent here instead. Next time, head to a bar. I'm sure the people at the bar can help you understand why you don't have any buddies.
Cheers!

Rohan Davey was pretty solid one year
