2007 vs. 2010

This is how I see this season...
Remember in 2006 whenever the Black & Gold would win a big game (the re-opening of the Dome and the game against Dallas) they would usually follow up the game with a loss (Carolina & Washington)? I made the analogy when we started out badly in 2007 that 2007 was a 2006 on a bigger scale, that just like the team struggled with success on a game by game scenario in 2006, in 2007 they were struggling with playing with the success they had in 2006 as a whole.
I think this year is the same as that, except just like we started off slow in some games after big games last year, we're just starting off slow this year after winning the Super Bowl last year.
My point being, if you're in a panic over Hartley's missed field goals, or Brees throwing two interceptions, then you're and idiot, and what is referred to as a Saintard. The team will be just fine, they're starting off slow, but they'll get their shite together. The defense will start getting the turnovers, and the offense will begin putting up the points.
Just wait and see...
Oh, and if you think that the call to kick the field goal on 1st down was a bad call or somehow cost us the game, then you're a fricking moron with no knowledge of football whatsoever. Thomas looked like he might be out for the season the way his leg was bent all crazy at the end of regulation, Ivory fumbled once already, and our offensive line was getting no push at all, and every time we gave Ivory the ball he was getting hammered either at the line or behind the line. It doesn't matter what down it was, we were on the 12 yard line and well within Hartley's range, and he just shanked it, but he'll come through for us again... he did last year after the Tampa Bay game.
For all of you out there who, like me, is not in a panic... all I can say is "Who Dat?!"

The Falcons are a damn good team, and losing to them today after a short practice week proved nothing imho.
The 2007 Saints started 0-4; this year's won't go any worse than 7-2 going into the bye. Here's a copy/paste of a thread I started:

The Falcons sent a MESSAGE today (Posted on 9/26/10 at 10:41 p.m.)
That message is: When the Saints get home at 4am on a Tuesday, and when Drew Brees throws his worst pass as a Saint, and when the Saints kicker misses a 29-yarder, and when the Saints offense is on the field for 8 minutes in the first half, DON'T COUNT OUT THE FALCONS.
In all seriousness, the Falcons are dangerous, and I expect them to win a game on the road in the playoffs. As far as the Saints, to say that I'm optimistic about the rest of this season is an understatement--I'm thrilled.
The Falcons have a great running game, a great tight end, and what appears to be a great quarterback, and our defense, as much as it was on the field, allowed only 24 points in regulation.
I fully expect the Saints to be 8-1 going into the bye week. And I'm no homer; my "work" on this site proves that.
