ANYONE with a trained eye would know lsu has had a qb problem since flynn left....your qb play can cripple an offense severely.....in 08 lsu was faced with losing rp for 08/09 seasons...had to start and play 2 freshmans in 08 and then play an average sophomore in 09...didnt do bad....now in 2010.....jj is not performing, its safe to say maybe he is not the leader he can be but he can come in and do some things in situations.....this year i believe lee can lead and has matured....his last 3 drives sat. was pretty good and showed a totally different approach that jj did....if crowton plays lee and plays him often, his fruits can start to show....

if we can get good qb play and average at least 21 pts from the offense alone....lsu can finish very high this year....but if qb play doesnt get better it will be hard this year....

neither one of these qb's should have saw any time on the field in 08/09....everyone knows but miles had no choice when RP screwed up and miles did what he had to do for the sake of staying clean and doing right....its those little things that bless lsu to be 5-0....thanks miles!!!

The last two years, yes. QB's in the game that were not ready.

No excuse this year. Jordan Jefferson is god awful and they keep putting him in the game.

Agreed and to be honest the o-line play isn't stellar. I watched both qb's rush a lot of throws because of pressure and many times it wasn't even from a blitz.

Way to blame a player that was recruited 5 years ago and would be out of eligibility anyway.

you have no idea how hard it is to get qb's around that time after rp was there...they know he was good so they go elsewhere....rp problem has haunted us....proper practice time with jj/jl not playing and maturing would have made a bigger difference this year....

This and Why is that?

Either our coaches cannot evaluate talent or cant coach em up. Or both either way I'm ready for CLM to go. 3 years is enough to tell me which way the program is headed......I see no reason to continue down that path.

they can , look at shepard/peterson/mingo, etc......

its about dealing with adversity and sticking by your coaches and knowing that things will improve...lsu is young this year....next yr will be miles best yr....

...like saban said and is true for miles and his team(qb play)...saban told the media after almost losing to ark. "well this is what happens when you dont listen" and when they whooped fla. he said "well this is what happens when you listen".....jl follows crowtons lead much better.....

Fine. You have made a point.

However, RP screwed us over 3 years ago and this combination of offensive coaches has been unable to rectify the situation in those years. That combined with a complete lack of attention to detail on the offensive side of the ball is inexcusable.

You thank Miles. I'm groing tired of supporting him.

So them getting early experience has hurt us past the time that RP would still even be eligible at LSU?

Also, tell us your story about LSU having no talent and all black QBs sucking again.

Wow.. I have seen true fresh and redshirt fres the last three years look light years ahead of any of our JR QB's...

I undertand maybe the 1st year but thats it.
But its still RP and Bush's fault right?

Other programs seem to be able to recruit good QBs who aren't afraid of competition. Plus, he was kicked off the team 2-1/2 years ago.

Stop blaming a 1 player on a football team of 85 scholarship athletes who hasn't been on the team in over 2 years.
