I've watched every WW2 documentary there is and this one is going to be the gold standard.
Because most documentaries, and movies for what it's worth, focus on the western front, most people have no idea that the Wermacht was destroyed in the east.
We would have never gotten off the beaches or broken out of Normandy had we faced all of the divisions the Russians destroyed.

The war's outcome was settled before America entered into the picture. Germany was waning far sooner than most realize.

This is truly hard to watch... It's impossible to comprehend what occurred during this dark time in World history.
Makes you wonder how different the world could've been had we beaten the Soviets to Berlin and helped prevent their occupation.

Been to Dachau 3 times. Every time I have been school children are there on field trips doing reports. Pretty gruesome stuff in the museum. The worst pictures are the medical experiments.
