you have to feel bad for Byrd...if his leg doesn't break so badly during the summer he is probably an Ole Miss or MSU commit right now.

Damn, poor kid. How badly did his broken leg affect him? I'm assuming bad, but damn, that must've really screwed him up.

That's the worst feeling: laying on the field, knowing your season is over, and your college chances have decreased significantly

Had something similar happen. My junior year I tore all my ligaments, stretched out all my tendons in my shoulder, also tore my bicep tendon. I rehabbed for over a year and could never get it back right. Really sucks, when you see teammates that you were better than get to play college ball, and you can't because of a damn injury...

Yes. I spoke with him at the Red Stick bowl game quite a bit. This kid is resilient.
