Huge spoiler, so look down at your own risk.
I found the whole bit on how the FBI/police found out about the Fenway Park job a little sketchy. Was it Lively's character gave them all the details, or did they imply something I missed that Fergie sold them out after Lively? Guess I just thought it odd that Lively's character would know all the details of the job, instead of just knowing a broad generalization such as something big was coming up.

Is there some obvious explanation I'm missing for why all that money is in a baseball stadium?

Lively ratted them out. But she didn't really have to have much more info except for the fact that it was going down at fenway.

Yes.
As I recall this was explained in detail.

I take it you've never purchased food at a major league baseball game.

multiplied by 40,000 people, and people still have to pay for tickets, programs, and other shite. I think they could pull in 3 million from all of that

They must have edited out when Hamm actually gets the information on Fenway, which imo was a mistake. I also was confused when Affleck has a psychic moment and walks up to the window to see a couple hundred feds and cops with their guns drawn outside of the stadium.

Well he first looks around and sees that all of the people that were working (the ones that he and gem walked through) suddenly disappeared.
And we know that the girl didnt give the cops details about the robbery at Fenway, just that it was there.
Remember when they first show up, the main FBI guy says "maybe we are too early", and then he looks around and he doesnt even know where they are or how they are going to escape

Maybe a silly question, but why didn't they just walk out the same way they walked in?

I thought about that but then you have to assume that the SWAT team walked all of those people out in front of their 2 boys chilling in the ambulance without them noticing

I thought it was him noticing how quiet it was and finding it odd. There wasn't a soul around and he knew that was suspicious.

Little Johnny wants a hat and a pennant and some ice cream.
Jersey from the pro shop? $125.
Uncle Larry drank 11 beers sitting out in the bleachers.
