Minn Kota Talon vs Power Pole

Just bought a new Blackjack 224 and want a shallow water anchor. Anyone here have any experience with the Talon or Power Pole? TIA.

at the bassmasters classic EXPO I was able to demo both
the Talon is a bit less money
power pole is faster, and seems to be built better
after speaking with the reps from both companies I'm probably going to get the power pole
especially with that new boat I would want the one that has been used in the field longer

power pole been around the longest....proven that it works great.
Talon looks interesting, and I'm really glad somebody came out as a competitor, but I need to hear more personal stories about it before making the plunge.
If I were buying today, I'd buy power pole.

I have the powerpole. Get the 8' model and remote control!
