Disappointing Baseball Season: Problems?

I'd like to read any and all comments on the problems you guys see with the baseball team.
Given they don't seem to have Jason Williams' "No Mercy" mindset, or a Russ Johnson's unrelenting, 9-inning plus intensity. But it's got to be more than that.
These pitchers are pitching their with all they've got. How disappointing, not just for us, but for them!
So, let's have it. What does CPM have to do to get it turned around for next season. Even if they do get in an regional, sorry to say, I don't hold out much hope of going far. That's not my normal mindset, either!

Oh yea, contrary to belief I think the bats played a big part too. Yes, everyone is using them but the style of team LSU has been in the past, it hurts them more. Especially when they recruit the players like they do. Now, they're going to need to change their recruiting a little and go with guys who are more consistent at the bat. Gorilla ball is gone for now.

the coaches not giving a frick attitude didn't help.

I'm hoping Grewe gets the boot too. Not sold on him at all. Anyone can recruit to LSU, so I don't think that will be a big loss.

Are you Coach PM? Is this how you get your advice on how to run the program?
I like it. All coaches should do this.
1.) Hire a chimpanzee to coach third base.
2.) Free beer and concessions at the games.
3.) Give the players steroids.
4.) Go back to using old bats, don't care if it's illegal.
