I did not feel like bumping an old thread and I have a question.

When Magneto/Eric twists the metal from the bed railing around Emma Frost's neck, how does the metal crack and damage her DIAMOND exterior?

Seriously it bothered me

Other than that, great movie IMO.

Despite Diamond's reputation for being hard, they can be quite fragile in certain circumstances:

Yeah but the diamond was being grinded off her neck. That couldn't happen. the structure of her neck could crack, but the diamond itself couldn't be rubbed/grinded/sanded off like it appeared.

Ok, I went too far into that. It was an awesome movie. I'm audi5000

Perhaps because much of her neck is hollow that it started to break in on itself due to the pressure of the metal. I agree that it certainly couldn't be rubbed off like that though.

I found it odd that magneto brings the submarine out the water and flips it on to the beach while kevin bacon is in it with his hands on the nuclear rods acting like nothing is happening.

I found it odd that he didn't just warp the props the first time Shaw was in the sub.

If you are talking about when the sub first breaks away from the yacht during the night scene that was when Magneto didn't have the ability yet to move massive metal objects, hence why he was being "dragged" in the water by the sub.

This. and id also say the props might have been moving too fast for him to get a hold of since he was being dragged. he hadnt honed his powers at all at this point in the movie
