Not a person on TD can say JJ does not have the athletic ability to be a Hesiman canidate but has his mind matured (or will it ever) enough to get LSU a National Championship? This is the JJ debate in a nutshell.

He has no chance to win the heisman.. nor does he have the talent.

The problem is we had an option offense and JJ is a terrible choice of an option QB.

And we're keeping the offense. Gotta love not adjusting a scheme to player strengths.

Do you mean "option" in the classical sense? No doubt that was a part of our O but I think JJ's struggles run deeper than that.
I'm not bashing someone that dons the P&G; just an observation.

I seen better mechanics in the spring game. But his main problem and always has been, consistency. He just loses it in games and it all comes crashing down. He tries too hard.

JJ gives everything he has in every game. He plays his heart out.
Regardless as to what anyone thinks, he wants to do well, and he wants to win.
If he loses a game, it's harder on him than it is on any fan.
