What was your favorite ESPN 30 for 30?

We were talking about it in the Condon thread on the OT, I have only seen the following.
The Miami 30 for 30
The Pacers vs Knicks
Marcus Dupry
SMU
And I enjoyed them in the order I listed them.

Hard to pick an order:
The Two Escobars
Without Bias (Len Bias)
Once Brothers (Vlade Divac/Drazen Petrovic)
The Best that Never Was (Marcus Dupree)
Best on a topic that I knew nothing about:
Tim Richmond: To the Limit (NASCAR driver died of AIDS)
Worst (Tie):
Straight Out of L.A. (Ice Cube's take on the LA Raiders)
One Night in Vegas (Mike Tyson/Tupac) I quit watching it after 20 minutes

Pony Excess and The U
That's it! Pony Excess, I couldn't think of the titles of each one, but I knew the SMU show was titled something like that.
You must be a CFB fan lion, I am the same way and thought I was only going to enjoy the CFB related 30/30s but the Pacers vs Knicks 30/30 brought back a lot of memories from the mid 90s.

Those were the other shows I wanted to try and watch, but it isn't worth watching? Or are you not a fan of the whole gansta rap scene?

The U
I always liked the U just because during the 90s I was in my preteen/teenage years and they were sort of the "new era" of CFB. Kind of like when you like something just because the old people dont.

Never has hip-hop been so boring. The directors had no talent for telling a story that was coherent.
Hardest to watch because of the memory - The Guru of Go; family went to Loyola so we were fans of the team and followed the Hank and Bo show.

Does anyone think that the 30 for 30 shows (specifically the CFB related shows) lead to some current investigations within CFB?
I think it showed exactly how interested people are in those stories which lead to reporters trying to find that next big story.

I just thought the Tyson/Tupac one was horrible. It was two "hip-hop" guys rhyming their way through the documentary and I really didn't care that Tyson and Tupac were good friends. But I would have watched it except it was terrible.
Straight Out of L.A. just seemed to be stating that rap music was the only reason pro football had a chance in Los Angeles. Basically that because the hip-hop world loved the Raiders, that they never should have left L.A. My opinion is that perhaps Al Davis learned that the hip-hop fans buying starter jackets wasn't going to put people in the seats where the real money is made. However, I did at least watch all of that one.

Now that you mention this, I think I did see some of this one.
I have always been under the impression that part of the reason the Raiders moved was to get away from that whole gangsta image that people associated with them.

Pony Excess. I haven't seen most of them though.

The Two Escobars. Real stuff.
The U is overrated by the fan boys here. It's still good.

I thought the beginning of Pony Excess was done well. I like how they touched on how the city of Dallas was thriving, etc.
