T A/M recruit Alonzo Williams moves from Abbeville to California

Like the coach says, it's secondhand but does this sound wierd to anyone else?
Should this go on the recruiting board???

“He hasn’t made a workout or anything since probably about the second week of June,” said Breaux. “I have had absolutely no contact with him at all in at least a month now.”
Breaux said he can only go off of what he has heard from his players and parents “that have had contact” with Williams.
“According to all of them, he is in California and is definitely staying there,” said Breaux.
Williams, who verbally committed to attend Texas A&M after he graduates high school, is reportedly moving to California to attend a prep school.
Breaux said the school Williams is going to attend is set up differently from a normal high school.
“It’s similar to a junior college, but they also have high school seniors that go there,” he said.
Breaux stressed that the information he has is second hand.
“All of that is based on what I’ve heard,” he said. “I haven’t actually talked to him myself about all of that.”
Still, Breaux said that it would be “kind of late” for Williams to come back to the Wildcats program.
“I’ll put it this way,” Breaux said, “if he was coming back to be part of the football team, he would already be back and he would have already contacted me. So, if he’s coming back at all, it would probably be just to be a student.
“We’re at the end of our second week of practice now and we’ve got a scrimmage next week and we’ve kind of moved on.”
Breaux said that, though he does not agree with William’s choice, he harbors no ill will.
“A lot of people think he’s making a bad decision, but it’s his decision,” said Breaux. “I hope it works out for him and I wish him the best. I’m still there if he calls and needs somebody to talk to.”
Breaux said that he and his players were not focusing on what they’ve lost.
“We can’t worry about the guys that we don’t have on the team,” he said. “We’ve got to worry about making the ones that we do have better.”
The 6-foot-5 inch Williams, ranked the 21st recruit in the state by rivals.com, led the Wildcats with nearly 50 tackles last season, and was parish defensive MVP in 2011.

My thoughts exactly. Kinda seems a little sketchy to me. If I were the coach I'd be pretty pissed at him. Look out aggies, you got a good one.

LSU was recruiting this young man also... That's why this is relevant. He was committed to A&M but was ready to jump on an offer from LSU. The offer is now off from A&M and LSU isn't in contact either... Alot more to this story!!!!! The kid has the grades... Nothing to do with that.

Our only issue has been Early slaying all our white chicks, but that's minor compared to your problems. First it's the Cocaine Aggie..then the random Tennessee LB, and now the West Coast runner.

Alonzo followed his AAU basketball coach to Longbeach Cali. Coaches there did not even know he was coming. TAM told him that they would not recruit him in Cali, He went anyway. This AAu coach was also the asst bball coach at Abbeville High and trying to make a name for himself. All he did is cost a kid a full ride to college...
