Will there be another NCAA surprise before our first game with Oregon?

Is there a chance of another North Carolina type NCAA investigation repeat with Oregon having a large number of Ducks not being able to play in the game against LSU? I have not been following Chip Kelly's problems with the NCAA and don't know the possibilities of any moves before the season starts.

According to the morning news,..seems the OREGON qb was a passenger in the car with the player that was arrested....after the Miami debacle, you never know from day to day...makes LSU'S problem seem minscule...

Will down right piss me off if James gets to play after he got paid to play by Willie Lyles, when your from SEC country why the hell would you want to go play in Oregon?? Seriously??

You do realize all the SEC (and Big12) teams overlooked LaMichael James, right? His only other major offer was Minnesota....I guess he should have walked on at an SEC school though, probably would have been a better career move.
And no, there's no chance of an LSU UNC type situation. The only guy who would be in danger of getting suspended is our 5th string rb, Seastrunk.

I would easily bet $1000 that no more players are suspended then already have been(2). And the only one for sure if Cliffy. Our Stallion MLB may indeed play in this game. I give him a 40% chance of being cleared to play. He will make 5 times the difference in the game vs missing Cliffy. He is the one you all should be up all night praying does not play in this game. Without him at MLB, we are very weak there. ON D, that is our only weakness(without him). We have another MLB, but one not as good, but still pretty good. But after that #2 reserve, we have nobody good there. Thus, I promise you, this will not be a repeat of UNC. If you beat us, you will get full credit for doing so. At most, only 2 players missing. At least, 1.

Ok beardedzeus, I think I know my team well. Please do humor me and tell me on our Defense one position that we are weak at this year besides MLB assuming our #1 cannot play for this game?
I would rank our only total weakness's in this order. And this is overall:
1)Who will our WR's be? Who will step it up for our top two WR's from last year gone?
2)O-line. We know who they will be. And they will be awesome in 3-5 games from now. But can they gell quickly enough for LSU with starting a few guys without experience there?
3)MLB depth if our #1 is suspended. If he gets to play, we are great there as we have a solid backup for him. But after #2, we are sad there.
But please do humor me on where we are weak at any D position going into this year.

There are varying degrees of weak. I'll put it this way... I wouldn't trade any of my players for any of your players (with maybe the exception of the MLB). Therefore, the other players are weak in LSU's mind versus the SEC players we see every week.
But, we'll find out in 17 days, 7 hours, 28 min, and 12 sec.
