No update other than to say don't come this way. We are gridlocked. Looks they are diverting off the interstate.

10 minutes outside of Longview on the LA side. Looks like we may be looking for routes through Toledo Bend. t

The fire looks like it came from US80 which is north of I20. Let me know if the Longview idea works.

Fire is around 603. Both sides closed. If heading east I'd take 80.

We are getting off at 571 and taking that to 1844 but we are going to my grandpas north of longview

We're gonna try 271 thru Gladewater & Longview. hopefully everyone else doesn't have the same idea.

We got off at Mile Marker 589 to go through Longview. Hwy 80 to Farm to Market Road 450 got us back on I-20.

Try Highway 80. It runs through Longview and Marshall. You can get back on I-20 in Marshall.

Hows traffic on the detour? Do we need to find our own route or is it ok to just go down 20 until it is closed?

Just passed a flashing sign that says "extreme wilfire. Conserve water" around 520
