Who is nervous for tomorrow's game?

Don't get me wrong, I think Moo State will be a 7-5 or 6-6 team, but why is everyone so nervous about tomorrow night's game? Is it because it's Moo Moo's first home game this year? Is it because it's a Thursday night? I think we beat this team handily 31-9

It's LSU football. If you're not nervous, you haven't been watching long enough.

Been saying this is a trap game. Maybe more than ever with that Auby loss. I am very excited, but I hate this game being mid-week. I HATE THURSDAY GAMES.

You must not have heard...Crowton is gone.

I agree. LSU will win 30-something to 10/13.
In his career as State's head coach, Mullen is 0-9 against the SEC West not named Ole Miss.

:raises hand:
Less nervous than usual, but MSU is still a top-half SEC team.

With LSU -4 and over/under 49.5 Vegas believes it to be a hard fought game.

I'm less nervous after this past weekend. Thought it would be a tight game but they should have crushed Auburn. Probably 28-10 or something.

Frankly, I'm nervous about every game save weak out of conference sacrifices like NSU. Even then, I fret about injuries. This is the curse of being an avid CFB fan. Unlike the NFL, a single loss can prevent your team from accomplishing its objectives.
These are the factors that concern me about tomorrow night:
(1) It's a Thursday night game, which means that LSU has altered its standing gameweek routines. It's unclear how the players will respond;
(2) It's a road game. The MSU team, coaches,and fanbase will be desperate to salvage their season and prove their legitimacy after the AU loss. This is the first time that this incarnation of the Tigers will play in a truly hostile environment;
(3) MSU features an offensive system - the read option - which has troubled Chavis and his defenses of late;
(4) We were fairly one dimensional on offense against Oregon, relying on a sturdy running game. Can we prevail against an SEC defense utilizing the same strategy, or will Lee have to make plays downfield in order to win?
All that said, I still expect LSU to win. MSU is not nearly as talented or deep as LSU.

That cuz the Merlins is the epitome of the suck...He hates recruiting..doesn't do it well at all. You can't be just a gameday coach in this league.

Nervous?? No way.... and let me promise you this: The Tigers are not nervous!!
Trap Game?? thats loser talk for " i might not be good enough", our Tigers are full of swag backed up with enough talent and "want" to blaze a path straight to another crystal football...
so to all the former band players that keep talking about what "might" go wrong.. grow a pair and have some confidence in these kids... Geez

One must guard against extrapolating from limited data. It was one game. Maybe MSU had a "bad" day that was not representative of how they are capable of playing. And teams tend to improve from their first serious game to the second. I think we will be fine, but I'm not sure we can make too much of the performance against Auburn.

I'm nervous for every conference game. Being a conference road game makes me even more so.
By the way, most of the pay gambling sheets that I have been able to find online favor Miss. St plus 3.5.

I'm nervous for sure, road conf game and while I think we will win, you never know, my main concerns
1) Is LEE's ankle really ok?(Mett may be great, but sec road game is no way to find out)
2) Field pos may be key and our 1st punter is hurt
3) MSU owes us big time
again, we are sig better, but the line is not 3.5 for no reason...

They played a very physical game and we had a breather. I think the short week would favor us.
