I'm hearing rumors. But we've heard a lot of rumors that turned out to be just that. I don't see it.

I don't see why they'd take Louisville over Houston. They're similar in every way, but Houston is in Texas.

I don't think Texas is to high on Houston joining the big 12. Houston is getting a new stadium though and trying to improve on facilities etc.

Right but I'm just saying if they need schools that bad then why not Houston? Houston and Louisville are very similar but Houston is closer. Unless its something to do with Texas politics.

It's more Texas liking Houston in Conference USA where they can't get recruits and recognition. I'm not sure about Louisville but Houston would kind of be another leech like Baylor and Texas Tech. BYU is probably going to be their #1 target.

Maybe they feel like they've got Texas covered and want a bigger footprint. Adding TCU and Houston would make it 5 teams in the Big 12 from Texas.
