FYI. Says he just entered the BOC meeting. Said to be very pro-SEC.

Good Luck
Update says he's been with them for over 20 minutes. Also added that there is a press conference scheduled at 5:30 for the chancellor and BOC president.
I'm an LSU man. I put up the Mizzou logo because I want them as members of the SEC.

JW - why MU in particular? I have nothing against them (they do make sense in some ways)

Smartest thing for them to do is head to the SEC
Then later when the B1G expands, leave for it. SEC has no buy-out cost to leave the conference

I think the reality is the B1G isn't going to come calling Mizzou. Most people think they're going to want ND and Eastern teams. Some of Mizzou might be realizing this and realize that the SEC is the best alternative.

Two months ago I would have agreed with you that most of them wanted the B1G, but not anymore. I know scores of Mizzou alumni and fans and the vast majority of them now want the SEC over the B1G. Most of those who don't are afraid of the football competition in the SEC and even said so.

Good point. I think B1G is missing on not taking Cuse and Rutgers. Sew up some of that NY/NJ market. Both have decent football history

Some guy from powermizzou.com was just on the afternoon drive. Said he was out in the hallway of the closed door meeting. His gut + everything he's heard is this that they will vote to allow president _______ to explore options
Also said that you could infer that means they are going to SEC. Like the guy this morn from the DMN, any statement other than "we're staying" means they are indeed out the door

I hope this happens personally. I'm ready for it to end, and would rather have them than WVU

Unless we get them and WVU and say "We are staying at 15"

Missouri has no intentions of SEC
If they did, there would be a ton more smoke than what has been coming out
They will stick with Big 12

Mizzou is good people, good luck.
I don't envy what they're going through now though. The anticipation and waiting for the official SEC announcement was awful.
